A few moments ago life was so promising
So bright
Suddenly raindrops cover my windowsill
The overcast sky show no traces of light
Like the rain leaves a streak down my windowpane
A single tear leaves a makeup trail down my face
Rivers of water form outside
As the internal pool begins to incessantly flow from my eyes
And my beauty is now a distant disguise
As the hurt soaks through and is visible to you
Mother Nature and I grieve together
Ladies in pain
Grieving like females do
But just as quickly as it began
It stops
And I wonder
If the rainbow will come out for us as it has for the world
